Jewish Democrats Endorse Dean Phillips For Congress in MN-03
Dean Phillips for Congress is pleased to announce today that it has received the endorsement of the Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA), the socially progressive and pro-Israel group that represents Jewish Democrats across the United States.
“We’re pleased to announce our endorsement of Dean Phillips,” said Ron Klein, chair of JDCA. “We were impressed by Dean’s support for Israel, and commitment to other Jewish and Democratic values. We are confident that Dean will be a strong voice for these principles in the U.S. House when he wins in November. “
“I am honored by the endorsement of the JDCA and to have the full support of their organization,” said Dean Phillips. “If Democrats hope to take back the House of Representatives and provide a check on President Trump, we must win Minnesota’s 3rd District.”
JDCA, which launched in November 2017, has initiated a targeted campaign to support Democratic candidates in advance of the midterm elections. Its endorsement process has focused on supporting candidates whose positions are aligned with the JDCA platform and represent Jewish and Democratic values. In addition, JDCA is targeting races where the Jewish vote could impact the outcome of the election.
