We figured, why have a plain old office layout when you can create a space that matches our community—friendly, smart, and snappy. A place where you can come in, take a load off, sip from a hot mug, pull up a chair, and roll up your sleeves.
Here, people of all stars and stripes gather. Some share their everyday stories, hopes, and dreams—others just take it all in. Regardless, bringing hope to others starts here.
The Campaign Coffeehouse is purpose-built to adapt to many different needs. Listed below are a few spaces and activities that people like to engage in—feel free to carve out your own.
The campaign stop
Pop on in and grab a name tag, sign-in for activities, and pick up a program or campaign lit.
Everything you need to get started is right here. So, walk in and feel like you own the place—because you do.
The coffeehouse
This is where we gather for the coffee and conversation that powers our highly-caffeinated campaign.
Grab a hot cup of joe and a tasty treat. Then, settle in with the friendly faces of your fellow DeanTeamers—and even Dean himself. This is all about supporting the friendships and fueling the inspiration that keeps us connected and motivated.
The makerspace – meeting place
Join us around the big table for campaign projects, planning, and collaboration at the big table—and feel free to bring your little ones.
Write or draw a postcard that we’ll hand deliver to Dean—or lend a hand by writing thank you postcards on behalf of the campaign. Meanwhile, the littles can get creative with a coloring page or decorate a Minnesota ornament.
The children’s corner
The campaign coffeehouse is a kid-friendly zone. So, swing on by and jump into a conversation or a campaign project while the youngsters play.
They can curl up on our comfy couch and read a story, play a game, or build a puzzle—all while you’re making good things happen right nearby.
The Government Repair Shop
Stock up on both classic and new PFC merchandise.
Feel free to pick out some items and show your support. You could snap up a magnet for your car, grab t-shirts for grandma, snag a bandana for your pup, and even beat the rush and leave with your yard sign. And, don’t miss out on our vintage, collectible buttons—they’ll soon be gone!
The courtyard
When we host events, we transform the courtyard—giving hearty folks the opportunity to step outside, gather ‘round the fire, and check out the Government Repair Truck.
Climb up in the driver’s seat and explore Dean’s 1960 International Harvester truck—and snap some pictures while you’re at it. Then, warm yourself by the fire for coffee and conversation.
